Look no further than Lia Vanus’s Instagram feed for a modern take on at-home dressing filled with button-up shirts, tailoring, oversized silhouettes, and chain details. We caught up with the Spain-based graphic designer and content producer all about ethically made and sustainable fashion and asked her to curate her favorite gift ideas found on Status Gaea.
Discover her edit below of sustainable and ethically made items and why they should be on your gifting shopping list- or your own!
"As a slow and sustainable fashion advocate, I try to be mindful of each and every item I bring into my wardrobe. I try to pick items that are not only in line with my style, but I make sure that (if they are not vintage or second hand) they are at the very least ethically and sustainably made.
The pieces I have picked out are all made from recycled materials. Buying recycled clothing saves a lot of unused textiles from being sent to landfills, reduces greenhouse emissions, and conserves a lot of energy.
I personally believe that every little effort we put into saving our planet is rewarded so even the smallest actions can make a difference."
